i am really not looking forward to fixing the shifting in this set. instead of introducing lots of useless features to polyvore, like hashtags and new homepages, why can't they fix real problems like shifting instead? just a thought.

so it's june 1st. i honestly can't believe it. we're halfway through the year already, yet it still feels like january to me. england has the weather to match and everything; it's so darn cold and it keeps raining and occasionally hailing. like whaaaat?
 
everybody said that 2013 was going to be their year, but i'm pretty sure they've flopped on that statement, (myself included). i haven't stuck to any of my resolutions, maybe next year eh? ... hah, who am i trying to fool? i never follow through with anything long term n.n

last week i had to go to the orthodontics again, and they finally moved me onto the next stage. now i have another appointment in july where some guy is gonna take down all my records and finally measure me up, like three years later. it's about time if you ask me. i mean, at the rate things are going, it might be another year before i get my braces fitted, and then i'm probably gonna have them on for two/three years. i'll be like 20 with braces. HAHAHAno.
 
i don't know how i'm going to handle college and appointments at the same time, because i can't really afford to take time off from my placement, even if it is only for a couple of hours twice a month.
 
talking of placements, i still have no idea where i'm going to apply. there aren't any nurseries/daycares in my area that actually take in kids on courses, so i'm probably gonna have to commute halfway across the city three or four days a week and work with bethany instead.
 
i'm still finding it hard to believe that her and i are doing the same course. we used to be best friends in like 2008/2009, and we hung out EVERY single day during the summer, but eventually we drifted and i left school and didn't see her for a few years. then all of a sudden we end up applying for the same course at the same place on the same day miles away. i don't really believe in fate much, but this is just too good to dismiss lololo.

i really want to rant about something, but i'm not sure what. there's nothing to be angry about, yet at the same time, there is.
 
i guess i'll start with set copiers. so i've had people copy/steal my sets before, and usually i just laugh because i don't really think my sets are worth copying, but now it's getting ridiculous. i wouldn't mind if they gave me credit, but nah.
 
so if you could all report @ebondja for copying various people's sets, including mine, it would be much appreciated ;3

i know they're not the exact same, but basically all she's done is save all the items from my sets and rearrange them. i usually spend hours finding items from collections and sets and various other places, so i'm a bit annoyed that this girl has just taken them all without effort. again, i wouldn't have minded if she had given me credit or at least said that my set had inspired hers. but no.

so it's bgt time atm. there aren't many good acts this year if i'm honest. the only one i liked was alice fredenham, but she got voted off for some reason. dunno. i really liked her voice. so sultry and chocolaty, hah.
 
the public keep voting for all the kid acts, and don't get me wrong, it's cute, but the majority of them aren't that good. they should probably wait a few more years to get better at what they do, and then they should go on tv and embarrass themselves in front of millions.
 
(not while they're still kids. that's just torture to watch.)

as far as polyvore changes go, this one isn't their grandest. they've added hashtags, and most people like them, but i don't tbh. they're just making the website messier, s'all.
 
also the new homepage. igtjefkl. why why why. i can only see like two sets at a time, and they're just surrounded by items that i don't usually want to swipe.
 
i preferred it a couple of years ago when you could see your most recent contact's sets, like eight at once, and you could see the sets that they'd faved and even some from groups. but now nobody is getting any likes, really, compared to what they used to get beCAUSE NOBODY CAN SEE THEIR SETS. 4gtkdfnkngemdf

got tickets for one direction at wembley next year. so excited! standing in the red zone on june 8th if anyone wants to cry with me((: proud of my boys!

i made this set like a month ago and just left it in my drafts. dunno how to feel about it.
 
so a few days ago i went for another interview for the childcare course at the training place, but it was a mix up and they got the dates wrong. my dad couldn't come and pick me up so i had to walk like half way across the city until he finished work, and it took like hours. my legs were dead afterwards. they still are tbh. oh how i wish i lived in a smaller city, or town even. maybe a little village would be nice and quaint?
 
had the orthodonticts yesterday, again. wish they would just hurry up already. i'm 16 and haven't even had my braces yet, so i'm gonna be like 20 and still have them hur hur. not entirely convenient but w/e.
